Position: Senior Performance Marketer

Salary Range: €60,000 – €70,000

Location: Uk & Ireland [Remote]

Role Overview:

Velocity Growth is seeking a seasoned Senior Performance Marketer to lead our PPC and Social Media Advertising initiatives. As a pivotal player in our digital marketing team, the ideal candidate will possess a combination of strategic insight, executional excellence, and a passion for scaling businesses digitally, while being customer obsessed. Candidates need excellent verbal and written communication for internal and external facing overlap with clients and teammates. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • PPC Advertising:
    • Design, implement, and optimize PPC campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.
    • Conduct keyword research, ad copy testing, and landing page A/B tests to improve ROI.
    • Monitor budget and adjust bids to gain better ROI.
    • Track KPIs to assess performance and pinpoint issues.
  • Social Media Advertising:
    • Develop and execute advertising campaigns on platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Pinterest.
    • Analyze campaign performance and recommend strategies for improvement.
    • Stay updated with the latest trends and changes with algorithms and best practices.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Use analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc., to gather and interpret data.
    • Prepare and present reports on campaign performance, insights, and recommendations.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the content and design teams to create compelling ad visuals and copy.
    • Collaborate with the sales and product teams to align strategies and improve lead quality and conversion rates.
  • Continuous Learning:
    • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in PPC and Social Media Advertising.
    • Attend webinars, workshops, and conferences to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Client communications:
  • Conduct fluid, professional, high value meetings with clients – often with multiple stakeholders present.
  • Draft and present metrics dashboards, presentations, and deep dive strategy documents across clients of various sizes

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in performance marketing with a focus on PPC and Social Media Advertising.
  • Proven track record of executing profitable PPC campaigns across various platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of ad platform algorithms, targeting methods, and best practices.
  • Expertise in tools like Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Certifications from recognized institutions or platforms such as Google Ads Certification, Facebook Blueprint, etc.
  • Experience in using automation tools and scripts for campaign management.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced agency or startup environment.

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to fill the role of Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager. Reporting to the COO, the successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent client communication abilities, and a passion for fostering business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Lead, manage and mentor a diverse team of lifecycle marketing professionals. Establish clear team goals and objectives and ensure they align with overall business strategy.

Client Communication: Build strong and effective relationships with clients. Regularly communicate updates, insights, and strategies to clients in a clear and concise manner. Proactively address any issues or concerns and provide timely solutions.

Lifecycle Marketing Strategy: Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies that drive customer engagement, retention, and business growth. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our strategies remain relevant and effective. 

Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and analyze campaign performance against KPIs. Provide regular performance reports to senior management and clients, offering insights and recommendations for improvement where necessary.

Business Growth: Work closely with the senior executive team to define growth goals and develop strategies to achieve them. Regularly review and adjust strategies based on performance data and market trends.

Lifecycle Marketing Strategy Implementation: Actively contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategies that drive customer engagement, retention, and business growth. Keep abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our strategies stay ahead of the curve.

Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with the Performance Marketing and SEO departments, leveraging data, design, content, and other marketing verticals to launch and scale successful campaigns.

Data-Driven Optimization: Regularly review campaign data and market trends to optimize marketing strategies. Use a growth hacking mindset to resolve conversion funnel issues and achieve incremental results.

Operational Execution: Demonstrate a deep understanding of operational methodologies, including A/B testing, funnel analysis, and custom strategies.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. A Master’s Degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful lifecycle marketing strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop team members.
  • Exceptional client communication and relationship management skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, metrics, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using marketing software and analytics tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Have a strong understanding of CRM channels, such as email, app push notifications, and other product interfaces to engage users

  • Utilise a growth hacking mindset to resolve conversion funnel issues and achieve incremental and continuous results
  • Collaborate with the performance marketing and SEO department on data, design, content, and other marketing verticals to launch and scale successful campaigns
  • Implement data-driven optimization based on insights from internal data and external market conditions
  • Support the Lifecycle Marketing Lead in building the strategic function
