What is Mastering Growth? 

Mastering Growth is our hugely successful flagship program which will take you through how to get your start-up growing. With an NPS of 82, over 250 founders have graduated from this program with the skills and capabilities to drive their start-up to continued success. Use our Mastering Growth course as your roadmap to startup growth.

How does it work?

Live Sessions and Guest Speakers

1 hour live session each week on a Tuesday 1 hour session with a leadingGuest Speaker each week on a Wednesday Additional time spent on reading materials, assignments and Networking events each week

Weekly Accountability Sessions

Attendance encouraged 30 – 60 minutes per week to:

    • Review the weeks module & discuss key takeaways
    • Share the learnings from the module assessments
    • Network with other leading Founders& Entrepreneurs
    • Discuss challenges and key learnings with the GU Team

  • Engage, chat and network with other like-minded founders. 
  • Share challenges and find solutions on our private Slack channels questions

What’s involved? 

The program consists of 5 modules delivered online over 5 weeks and is hosted by Growth University Founder Craig Zingerline. Each module is a deep dive into a core element of growing any business. The modules are: 

  • Growth & Financial Modeling
  • Customer Acquisition
  • Activation
  • Retention
  • Experiments, A/B Testing & Growth Process

Additionally, we cover:

  • How to acquire your first users and get your brand out there.
  • Basics on SEM, SEO and paid advertising and any other channels you need to grow your acquisition strategy.
  • How to build traction and revenue through activating and retaining your users.
  • Growth and financial modeling for tracking your own goals as well as sharing with prospective investors.

Each week there will be an opportunity for the Mastering Growth cohort to engage more informally and grow your network through weekly coffee chats/challenges etc. There will also be  a whole host of guest contributors who will bring their knowledge from a variety of industries.

Who is Mastering Growth for? 

This program is essential training for any founder who wants their start-up to succeed! The team at Growth University are passionate about empowering and enabling founders to grow and drive their business forward. This program is for any founder (or member of their team) who wishes to gain the skills and knowledge about how to fully build out your initial financial model, how it can help you pitch to investors, how to build your initial team and some of the basic tools you’ll need to start your startup. You will also work on how to acquire your first users, getting your brand out there with paid advertising, SEO, SEM and referrals, followed by activating users into customers and building traction and revenue and learning how to keep them around. 

How will I learn? 

Mastering Growth is delivered online on Zoom over the course of the 5 weeks. The cohort will also have access to a private Slack channel moderated by the Growth University Community Manager and will be a space for sharing resources, experiences and best practice. There are a number of supporting resources for each module which will be shared and which will be invaluable resources as you continue to grow and scale your start-up.  

How will Growth University support me throughout the program? 

The team at Growth University are on hand to support you at all times. Our team will be available on the Slack channel and for one-on-one support if and when you need it. All Growth University members can also avail of our weekly “Live Mentor” sessions where the GU team are hand to give bespoke and individual advice.

Craig Zingerline

Craig Zingerline is a 6-time founder who has helped dozens of companies scale their growth. Prior to Growth University, Craig was the Chief Product Officer @ Sandboxx, Head of Growth at Upside Travel, CEO of Votion, Head of Growth at Red Tricycle, and VP at New Signature. In addition to in-house roles, Craig has advised and consulted with dozens of high-growth startups (4 exits). He’s an award-winning product strategist who has mentored hundreds of founders on growth, marketing, and product management.
